GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)

1. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

  • 1.1. Scope: These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern the rights and obligations between the Seller and the Buyer arising from the purchase of goods via the online store FurrFit.

  • 1.2. Seller Identification: The Seller is FurrFit, with its registered office at Onomyšl 25, 285 04, Uhlířské Janovice, Czech Republic.

  • 1.3. Identification Number: The Seller’s ID (IČO) is 22252932.

  • 1.4. Online Store: The store is operated at the URL address https://www.furrfit.com/.

  • 1.5. Governing Law: All legal relations are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and relevant EU consumer protection directives.

2. CONCLUSION OF THE PURCHASE CONTRACT

  • 2.1. Order Placement: The Buyer places an order by selecting goods, completing the order form, and clicking the button to finalize the purchase (e.g., "Order and Pay").

  • 2.2. Binding Nature: By submitting an order, the Buyer confirms they have read these Terms and agrees to them in full.

  • 2.3. Contract Formation: The purchase contract is concluded when the Seller sends an order confirmation to the Buyer’s email address.

3. PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS

  • 3.1. Prices: All prices on the website are final, including VAT (if applicable). Shipping and handling fees are calculated and displayed before the finalization of the order.

  • 3.2. Payment Methods: The Buyer may pay using the methods provided in the checkout (e.g., Credit Card, Bank Transfer).

  • 3.3. Retention of Title: The goods remain the property of FurrFit until the purchase price is paid in full.

4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

  • 4.1. Delivery Methods: Goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer through the carriers listed on the website.

  • 4.2. Delivery Inspection: Upon receipt, the Buyer is obliged to check the package for damage. If visible damage is found, the Buyer should refuse the package and notify the Seller immediately.

5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (RETURNS)

  • 5.1. 14-Day Period: A consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.

  • 5.2. Pet Food Hygiene Exception: Pursuant to Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code, the Buyer cannot withdraw from the contract for goods in sealed packaging (e.g., pet food, treats, supplements) if the Buyer has unsealed or opened the package after delivery.

  • 5.3. Return Costs: The Buyer bears the direct cost of returning the goods unless the return is due to a mistake by the Seller.

6. WARRANTY AND COMPLAINTS

  • 6.1. Quality at Receipt: The Seller is liable for ensuring the goods are free from defects upon receipt.

  • 6.2. Warranty Period: The statutory warranty period for consumer goods is 24 months.

  • 6.3. Claims Processing: Complaints are handled within 30 days of the claim being filed unless otherwise agreed.

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • 7.1. ADR: In the event of a dispute, the Buyer (consumer) may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) for out-of-court settlement at https://adr.coi.cz/cs.

  • 7.2. ODR Platform: European consumers may also use the online dispute resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

8. FINAL PROVISIONS

  • 8.1. Effectiveness: These Terms are effective as of February 26, 2026.

  • 8.2. Modification: The Seller reserves the right to change these Terms; the version effective at the time of the order shall apply.
